So just got back from a weekend at the nurburgring and this is the 2nd time I've been but the 1st time in the megane, I actually bought my megane based on me falling in love with them on my 1st trip haha. So I'll skip to the good bits...these cars a simply fantastic there is no other way to describe them! It took me and my pal there, done 10 laps and back home and all I did was change pads whilst out there! I mean my kw clubsports haven't been set up yet they just came out the box and whacked on, I don't know the track yet I done an 8.24 which I'm chuffed with. I really started to get tge hang of the track towards the end and found myself perfectly confident on the last section of the track afyer karussel and managed to have some epic fun laps with some of the big boy cars. Looks great, The NT03's suit it down to the ground! Good going considering how little experience you have, Shows how easy they are to throw round there in relatively quick lap times, I would be wearing a helmet mind you.
I wouldn't use one with out correct helmet and harness. It's around your neck so if it's not fitted correctly could do more damage
I hear what you guys are saying about helmet and I'll be taking one next time! Considering my tyres could with a change and the clubsports are not even set up yet it's crazy how well the felt. Ive been speaking to a local with a megane with clubsports set up by raeder motorsport and.he was kind enough to send me the suspension set up he has which he said is perfect for the ring, fast Road and daily driving so really kind of him
That's a really good video crazy quick and some awesome pictures what pads were you on me and a group of mates are going for the first time in 2017 so wanna get the car prepped for it beforehand
These pads I bought out therr from rsr rentals who use them on their hire cars. They are made by a guy local to the ring and where amazing
Wearing a helmet in a car with an airbag is more dangerous than not, because if the airbags deploy it is likely to break your neck...
I read it in some warning the sports car club of America (equivalent of msa) released years ago, can't find it now though
Does the no warranty on the Clubsports not put you off? I'd get a set but I use my Megane daily and no warranty might be abit risky?
