  1. Hi boys, need advice on how to deal with this member,

on 11th of september i asked this forum for a rear beam as i bent my rear axle. the same day a member pmed me with his contact number. he said that he had one and we agreed on £250 delivered. the same day i transffered the money to his account. he said he will ship it next day on saturday as he had courier for some wheels. on monday 14th i texted him about it and was told it got picked up and i will get tracking number later. since that he delayed the delivery saying courier sad this sad that emailed this.... on friday 25th after two weeks of paying him and still without a tracking number(as he used a local guy) and no beam, i asked him kindly to refund me. got promised that to be refunded the same evening. it is monday the 28 now , still no beam and no money. i texted, him whats happening and had no replay yet.

so what can i do with him? he never offered any explanation, i am a reasonable person and would understand that he maybe had to take it off the car and did not get a chance or something? i have to chase him and ask whats up?

his nick is rsbeag from south wales . if you guys know him, please talk some sense into him, or any advice how to deal with this situation?

    thanks,
    Artem

  2. Did you use a bank transfer to pay him?

  3. Unfortunatly yes as he hed no paypal

  4. No paypal is a sign. Who trades on the internet but doesn't have paypal?

Hope you get it sorted mate - I'm sure somebody on here can help.

  5. so i got f***ed hard, no beam, no money, and no money left for another one

  6. Speak to your bank mate. I had an issue when paying for something through PayPal. Bank sorted it in the end. Worth an ask

  7. I paid him via bank transfer. He has no paypal

  8. Ring your bank. Unless he can prove it was delivered they will get your dosh back.

  9. Will pay a visit to my branch tomorrow, thanks mate

  10. I don't think that's the case with a bank transfer, it's at your own risk. That's why you should always use PayPal for the protection it gives.

  11. I've used PayPal and they were hopeless. I ended up going through action fraud

  12. What is action fraud?

  13. Any south wales guys here that might know this guy and talk sense to him?

  14. just had a text from him that he will sort this after work

  15. Good stuff. Action fraud is part of the police where this sort of stuff is sorted out

  16. if no refund today, i will look into it tomorrow, thanks mate

  17. No probs. Doesn't happen over night but worth doing

  18. I can emagine, legal way long way

  19. If it doesn't get sorted and you have his details, sue him via moneyclaim online. It's the county court website and you can do it all online.

  20. I have only his bank details and a mobile number. Don't know his adress, only a T Doncster from south wales

  21. So no closer to getting things sorted mate?

  22. He texted me back yesterday to refund me later in the evening. Nothing came trough and to replay to my texts. Got an sms this morning that he came late home so is going to refund me this morning

  23. And nothing yet

  24. Keep all messages

  25. its ridiculous. What do people think that they'll gain by doing this aside from pissing people off. If you cant find the time to dismantle/package/post then don't advertise.

I hope you find him or get your money back mate, sooner rather than later

  26. The worst is he did not give me any explanation! I will try to contact him one more time today and after that must think of something else

  27. Have all saved mate

  28. Nmp

    Nmp

I would report it to the police, it's fraud. They will be able to trace him via his phone number or bank details.

  29. Yes, will ask someone who does know how to act in situation like this and take legal action against him
