   I'm trying to figure out how you can remove the port to fit a new cover as the previous owner looks like his keyed this original one??

   You should be able to do it in place.
   One side if the hinge is sprung it is a little tricky though

   I have tried several times but the sprung end looks impossible to match with the hole on the cover
