Is your steering wheel straight when going in a straight line ???

Push the lever down and or push side to side to see if it flickers, don't know how to get to the switch, not needed to get that out yet

Mine was out due to adjustable Powerflex bush turning, getting the tracking done after i creamed the bolt up sorted the fault.

The ECU measures the steering wheel position and road wheel speed and if it's not right it throws up a fault.

You haven't removed your steering wheel in the past have you ???

  12. came on a few months back on way to garage to get swivel hubs done . fault was reset and all good for a month now on all time. I read u can reset wheel calibration

I bet you can do a reset, but i am now wondering if it is an ABS sensor, probs need to get it plugged in while the fault is active.

Mine would go out if the ignition was turned off and on, but when you drive off it shows a fault again, try to find somewhere quite and drive, but keep moving the steering left and right so its not straight for more than a second or two and see if the light stays out then.

  14. nah tried that steering trick no lts out. how much are abs sensors and are they plug in at rear of discs

if it's the front ones, you will have to take the whole suspension strut off as it is behind the wheel bearing and in front of the drive shaft, i think it pops out with a screw driver.
If it's the rear i don't know, i have not stripped the rears off yet

  16. You don't need to remove the whole hub for the fronts just undo the driveshaft nut and push the shaft back a bit for some extra room at the back. The sensor will just pull out of the clip at the back of the bearing.

Ahhh so it's just the little black bit that comes out then, thought it was including the ring.

  18. Yea just the little black bit, the sensor works off the rear of the bearing.
