250 Passenger side knock at low speeds Megane rs250

  1. Hi everyone, my first post is a problem, my car seems to have quite a loud knock when going over bumps but only at low speeds, over 10-15 mph it is fine. Been hearing it would probably be the lower ball joint pivot? Does that sound right to you? Or is there any way to pinpoint it more? Cheers!

  2. tis pretty common, also one of the mounts is quite common to fail

  3. For me I would be checking the anti-rotation links.

Took me weeks to figure it out when mine went. I looked into lower ball joint but there are usually other symptoms when that goes - excessive play in the steering, especially during acceleration, and things like whining noises when steering at low speeds/standstill.

So have a look at those.
