New to the forum not new to the Megane :)

  1. I'm not 100% sure if I already have a RSMegane forum name but my email account doesn't seem to have been registered yet.. Might be another forum hehe

My name's Johannes and from Bloemfontein South Africa.

I bought my 2006 Megane F1 in April 2014 with 133,000km on the clock. Currently on 182,000km I made some changes to it during the first year and since just the basic maintenance. Poor car has been parked in the sun the past 4 years at work since it's my daily driver.

Love the car to bits, before it I owned a VW Caddy Utility, VW MK1 Citi Golf, VW Golf MK2 1.6, VW Jetta MK2 CLi, VW Jetta MK3 CLi, Jeep Grand Cherokee, load of motorcycles and finally the Megane.

Most cars were sold within a year. The Megane has been the car I enjoyed so much I can't even think of selling.

End 2014 I bumped the right front a bit and the body shop screwed up so many things , e.g. replacing fender/wing with aftermarket one, replaced fog light but never aligned it, masked and painted over decals I sticked on the car, leaving overspray and a big indentation after taking the sticker off. Was just a really bad experience and since I've performed most work myself. RSTuning South Africa is situated in Johannesburg and I took the car to them for decat and map once.
