Jingling noise.

  1. I'm getting a jingling noise coming from the front drivers side suspension of my R26. Does anyone know what it could be?

It's driving me nuts, I've had it on a lift and checked every joint and bush, it all seems tight. The only thing I think it might be is the hubs, they tend to feel sticky now and then, I've got a pair of refurbed ones which are due to be fitted soon. My car has only done 50,000. Any help or ideas would be great.

  2. Could just be a really badly designed and engineered car.

  3. what kind of jingling noise is it... is it a squeak everytime you go over a bump or is it a constant squeaking/jingling noise from driver side, mainly at start up? how old is the car and has it had belt/water pump change?

  4. have you checked the lower hub bolt on the swivel bearing as they can loosen and the washer rattles

  5. It sounds like a little bell jingling when ever the front drivers side wheel goes over a bump or pot hole.

The car is only on 51,000 miles and it's a 57 plate.

I'll check the bolt your motioned.

  6. Top mount?

    Lower hub bearing bolt,
The one behind the disk, it may be the washer jingling
