Having just got myself a Megane Cup-S I was commenting to the Wife that I cannot remember the last time I actually saw a RS Megane.... for that matter any Renaultsport except the odd old 172/182. So I had a look at this website. 878 Meganes ( 2010-2016) 121 Cup-S (which I have) 89 Trophy's ( which I assume includes R's) This is stupidly low. I recall having limited edition cars. Clio Trophy (500 of them) all sold in 2005. I had a P1 Impreza (1000 of them ... 300 or so still left) again all sold in 2000/1. No wonder when Renault did Trophy 265 & Trophy-R they did such short runs.
59 can be 2010. Someone might correct me but I’m pretty sure the 250 was first released very early 2010 so the earliest ones are on 59 plates
Looks like 2124 when you add up all the sub categories. That's Left on the road today. Around 700 registered in 2010 alone. Still not a lot for 6 years of supply. And ridiculously small no's made of each special edition. Even when not numbered.
Looks to be 9 registered in 2009. Found an Evo Article that said orders could be made from Nov 09 with first deliveries Jan 10. So they may have been registered late 2009. So there will be a few 59's around most from early 2010 but a few on late 09.
The Press Stuff looks to be in Oct 09 with foreign plated cars. Could it be a LHD or a private plate that is an 09.
There's a few of us Wasnt my first colour choice but it had a decent spec for a true cup. (I ditched the 19's) Three years in, still love the way it goes down a good b road
59 Spans year end so can be either. Given first Supply was Jan 10 more likely to be a 59 plate 2010 car registered in first 3 months of that year.
Theres 864 R26's left according to Howmanyleft.....1272 when it first launched. There were 304 LY ones made (which i have) so god knows how many left of those..maybe under 250? Very rare indeed anyway,when you compare to something like a Focus RS/ST.
