Anyone done this? Im guessing going back to a 182 after a R26 it is going to feel slow and primitive... Ive been thinking about looking for a mint 182 as i just think its a classic looking hatch,a lot of fun, and it would give me a bit of spare money. But maybe il regret it as il realise how quick a remapped R26 is compared hehe.
I’ve done this and it’s fine. They are very different cars, of course the Clio won’t have the out and out grunt the Megane has but it’s a totally different experience. You just need to lower your expectations around what the Clio will feel like and adjust to a revvy 7k rpm engine versus a turbo 6 speed lump so lots of torque.
