Ok So last Monday, I noticed on driving to work that my front nearside damper was on its way out. I ordered up a pair from Mister auto. Monroe G16387 I thought bargain. Only to be used on standard chassis. That’s ok I’ve not got a cup version. So the struts were delivered on Friday. Yesterday (Saturday) I removed the old knackered one and attempted to replace with the new one. To no avail. The new damper was far to narrow to fit. On inspection I also noticed that the spring was broken. Just my luck! So I need so advise - where should I purchase a pair of front shocks / struts dampers or what ever people are callling them these days, and a spring. Both the spring and shock had a red paint mark on them. I did notice a few years ago on the of side had the same marks. I do need them ASAP as the mot ran out yesterday. Regards Danny
