  1. I have a decatted R26 and the MoT is coming up. I have the original cat but did not remove it. i hear that it is a right PITA to replace and 'unreplace'.

    My options are then:

    Fail the MoT
Spend a day (which I am sure it will end up taking me) refitting it and then another reversing it
Cutting in and welding in a random replacement cat between the front seats which I have seen on other Meg groups.

They all seem like a PITA.

Why is the std cat such a PITA to fit? I heard you have to take the driveshaft out?

  2. Why don't you take it to the MOT place and see what happens, it might pass :sunglasses:

    Big Uno likes this.
  3. If only!

  4. sports cat?

  5. Just take it somewhere that will pass it.
