265 sticky rear calipers

  1. Example- when the discs get wet they go rusty say after a wash. Take it for a spirited drive and the fronts clean up no problem but the rears don't look like there doing any braking.

6 month ago before I got the car, it failed its mot for not enough free movement, but the garage put new pads in the rear and it passed the mot.

Is the megane more front brake biased, do I need to strip the rear and clean and re lube the slider pins

The rear callipers are pretty shit on them, Give them a full strip and clean and see if that helps. They are fairly front biased so the rears dont do an awful amount, especially on the road
