I like the the the sounds of tracks like brands and oulton , maybe tempted but weird that it's geared towards a steering wheel and not controller . bought an expensive steering wheel for the PS3 and never again, way too expensive and too hard to sell on.
Got this for Xbox one yesterday. I like it but there's the odd time where it just does some weird shit and I'm like what is even going on.
And I'm in my second season after winning in the 125cc Karts, now in the superkarts and the things are unreal haha
Is that weird shit when it starts to dig in and the wheel locks in one direction and no amount of counter steering makes any difference? That's what made me rage quit and turn it off
That's exactly the weird shit I mean. I thought my controller was stuffed and its brand new but after a little research I found its a glitch with the game.
well it's officially the most glitchy game I've ever played. What a colossal let down.. trade in time.
It is rather bad! I found a forum last night that had a load of settings to try which I did. They helped a little but there's too many glitches

Past couple of days I've had a bit of a fiddle with some settings I found on a forum (sounds a bit geeky I know). This seems to have aided me a little and not had no glitches since.
For anyone on PC, don't pay £40 for it when you can get it for £27 @ http://www.greenmangaming.com/ You just need to register and go to the 'VIP' area. Hopefully the gameplay is better than Assetto Corsa as that is just crap online for anything beyond hot lapping.

Xanda ... I would honestly wait a month or so... This game is good with a pad.. But apparently epic with a wheel... Plus at the moment there are a few bugs... And no doubt in the next month or so there will be deals to be had with ps4 and bundles... Plus I think logitech may be releasing an all new wheel of the rumours are to be beleived...
Just to add... It took me the best part of 8 hours to get to grips with the karts.... And I still think they're twitchy as hell...
It'll be Xbone if anything. Why wait a month? The bugs would be patched anyway surely? New wheel sounds good if it's designed specifically for this?
Apparently Xbox one bugs are even worse than ps4 ones... Most people are claiming that its simply unplayable... Yeah first patch can take anything up to three months to be released ... But as for wheels on Xbox 1 ... That's even trickier... I think you can only use one wheel at the moment as they have to be licenced by Microsoft... Who lock down compatibility...
Okay, so only just bought this - GOTY edition, £31 on Amazon or £40 on XBOX download. This comes with all of the DLC, tracks & cars inc. the Renault pack: • 1978 Renault Alpine A442B • 2014 Renault Mégane R.S. 275 Trophy-R • 2009 Renault Mégane Trophy V6 • 2015 Renault Sport R.S. 01 • 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 Regular game already has: MK4 Renault Clio Cup Renault Mégane R.S. 265 The FR 3.5 sounds epic, properly awesome in an old school F1 way - never mind the rest. I know this game had a lot of problems on launch but to me and in my limited play time, there is nothing that sticks out. The save times are on the long side having said that. I'm playing on the controller rather than a wheel, and I've not felt the need to mess with the settings which I know was a massive issue before. On the 1st couple of laps when the tyres are cold the cars do slide a lot but after that it's not a lot different to Forza 6 in terms of getting the cars around the tracks. Recommended.
I've just got this for my Oculus Rift but haven't had a proper chance to play it yet, I need to set up my steering wheel. Looking around the inside of an LMP1 car is pretty cool though
