So my screen cracked on the passenger side a while ago and I've finally got round to having it replaced. Strangely it cracked on the drivers side last night too, so it's two almost symmetrical stress cracks coming out of the A pillars. Chap arrived to do the job today and wasn't happy with his new screen being the right match. Colour was off and he wanted to get the right blue/purple one so has ordered it from Renault. Proper acoustic, fully sensed job! He also mentioned the stress cracks. Asked was it because I "hammer it". No not really but the potholes and roads are poor where I am so maybe that's it. Maybe I jacked the car too high on one side and the screens not liked it? Maybe it's the pano roof taking strength out of the body? Don't know but he's coming back to fit the proper one from Renault next week. Has anyone had any bother with stress cracks on the screens?
