After a pair of inner rack arms for mk2 225 as failed mot today, the cheapest I can find are £40 plus p p Only can see them on Renault parts direct or Ktec anyone used anywhere else.
Are Rpd the same as Oem or pattern parts as been told some of these arms are 15mm shorter where they go in track rod end compared to main dealer parts.

I've had a few things from them, all appear to be genuine parts. It's probably run by peeps that work at renault - cashing in on the staff discount
I'll find out tommorrow no idea what brand these will be.. And they for a 225 yea.. Could be anything as its my local motor factor not a chain or anything but I know the boys there they know I don't want the bottom range shit seen as its a race car.. But also know I don't wanna pay renault prices haha without the trade discount I get it would be like £22-24
I reckon they won't fit cause I've searched everywhere for aftermarket arms. Fingers crossed you prove me wrong though lol
Impossible to get after market inner arms for the RS Megane. I bet they'll be 15-20mm shorter, for a standard Megane.
Well I'll see soon do you know the length off top of head of the correct ones.. So I can measure them there and then? not got old one off yet
This was covered on another thread. TRW make them, i sent them an e-mail asking them and they are a dealer part only. the ones you will get will be short as Gray said.

They are fish brothers Swindon Renault agent under a different name. They quoted me £36.76+vat + delivery when I spoke to them. Hence I bought from Wolverhampton. Renault trough eBay for £38 all in.
not that i doubted you all at all :rolleyes:.. but you were all right the ones they offered me for the rs were wrong and the same as standard meganes.. rpd it is.. had to try see if the £17 were right first haha..
i got one from fish brothers in end.. first time they sent there was hole in bottom of the package and the rod was missing just a boot in the pack haha.. but in fairness i rang then told them what happend and within 15mins i had email saying order dispacted ups tracking.. and it arrived yesterday another full kit so have a spare boot and bush now.,. from the quick look through the packaging dont think theres a flat on it so it is a renault one not like the TRW ones which have flats from what ive seen from others threads on this.
That's correct. They don't have flats. Use the proper tool not grips/pipe clamps etc or you will deform the body of the balljoint.
