Where can I get brake caliper replacement stickers?

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Pirran, Jan 19, 2015.

  1. Having the calipers on my R26 repainted at some point soon and will need to supply the correct stickers - does anyone know where to get official ones (or any decent ones that won't fall off after 5 minutes!)?

    cheers

  2. I'm doing mine this week, so need to know this aswell! Seen loads on eBay, but different sizes!

  3. If you live near Birmingham Midlands car care do full brembo refurbs including tyres. They have some pictures of some evo calipers they did on their Facebook page. Look pretty good.

  4. would like to know this aswell. I have bought a few off ebay and just cannot get them to apply properly seem poor quality aswell.

    I've used this company before - www.powerhouseautomotive.co.uk

Although the website is for Motorbikes, I got in touch with them and asked if they were able to do other calipers, and due to the fact that quite a few motorbikes use Brembo calipers, they were more than happy to do them.

The service was excellent and the finish was spot on. They supply new genuine stickers too and lacquer over the top of them to protect them.

It was a couple of years ago when I used them though, but I'm sure they can still do them. The person I spoke to was Lawson Smith I think.

May or may not be useful to you, but thought I'd post the info anyway.

  6. Hi chaps - well I was planning to have mine done at pro-calipers.co.uk after Chris recommended them but Paul at RS Tuning has said he can get them done for me whilst the car's with him for a few other jobs.....but I'll have to supply the stickers, hence my search! I'd probably rather get them done by a dedicated brake place such as Stu describes, but considering Paul's reputation I shouldn't think it will be too shabby a job and it'll be handy to have it all done together.....just need the correct stickers!

  7. Update: I emailed brembo to ask them where to get replacements and this is the reply:

The Brembo logo on Brembo calipers is applied via a paint process, which is probably why you are unable to find official stickers, as they don’t actually exist!!

......so it looks like we're stuck with cheap aftermarket imitations!

  8. they have done mine

  9. Do you have any pictures? Don't know why my post said tyres!! Should have said stickers!!
