250 Wheel nuts plastic cover

  1. I would like to buy plastic covers to hide rusty wheel nuts. I am not sure which one size is correct. I think it may be 17 mm, but on an eBay I found also 19 mm.
    Anybody able to help?

  2. There 17mm i think, i found some covers for the locking nut aswel for a saab, and they fit the meganes locking nut

  3. Yes, 17mm and they work pretty well on the 250 as they don't protrude too much, got these on bbay

I have since replaced these with proper black bolts from TPI, much nicer IMO, more expensive but better overall look I think, especially with the matching locking nuts

  4. Thanks. I am going to buy those from eBay. 9 GBP so I will try.

  5. No worries, can't go wrong at 9 quid!

  6. 17mm hex

  7. It is not about money, it is about hassle.

  8. I had the bolts replaced under warranty so could try that if it bothers you. Then just clean it yourself and don't use any acid on them and they stay mint!

  9. Oh OK mate

I was going to change them over myself, but as my car was in to have new pads fitted, I got the dealer to pop the new wheel bolts on at the same time, seeing as the wheels were off, so didn't cost me anything.
