I've got an Oyster Grey 250 with the 19" Steev diamond cut wheels, what colour would suit the car? All I seem to be able to find pictures of is black or grey wheels.
Gold looks really good, but dont think it would on your alloys. I am going to go some sort of Dark Silver. I got some wheel nut covers, and they come in Smoked nickle, So will get them to match to that i think, and maybe get the wing mirror covers and door handles the same
Thanks Mikey. I think silver or anthracite looks great on the Steev wheels against the OG. Mine will be going all anthracite. I don't think a gold or bronze would suit the style of the Steevs like it does my OZ. However they'll be going silver soon. Yeah I'm a fan of silver against grey [emoji23]
I can't find anything to see how it would look, only non sports, it's like no one has ever put silver wheels on an OG [emoji23]
I'd be interested to see what the Steevs looked like in silver. It's a tough choice. Lot of wheel colours look good on OG, but I don't know how many of them would suit the style of the wheels.
Googling mk3 oyster grey shows up nothing but black, the odd grey and a red from memory. 95% are black though.
There's a guy on FB who has anthracite steevs on an OG and it looks real good. I used to have anthracite TD's on mine.
Has anyone gone for all silver Steev's? I know it's not 'cool' but might actually look good with a grey car. I'm refurbing a set at the weekend for my black car and think silver may look good rather than all gloss-black.... Anyone have any photos??
That looks bloody wicked! Half tempted to get mine done that colour! As said everyone goes Black, which looks alright but looks rubbish when they're dirty
Is that your car? If so they look fantastic! Black wheels on a black car can sometimes look too much, your contrasting 'silver' really looks great, I think I may get mine done in silver instead....!!
Yeh, big fan of black wheels, but on a black car i find they look crap. Went with the shadow chrome, due to the different angles of the spokes gives the finish a two tone effect, supposely a thing on the focus st forums.
Thanks for the photos, as previous said I think they look fantastic on your black car. And I agree regarding black wheels on a black car, I had a black Sirocco a few years ago with OEM black wheels and I just looked like the local dealer! I'm 42 next month and feel a bit of a tit driving a boy-racer car all in black; it will be less conspicuous with silver wheels. I'm not sure I will go for the shadow-chrome but probably a standard looking bright silver. Thanks... you've made my mind up!
Having put my Black 18's on tonight, I've decided I'm not a fan of Black You decided if your going Dark Anthracite Gavin? I think that's what I'm leaning towards...
