What Suspension Top Mounts?????

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by richmeg, Jan 7, 2015.

  1. Anyone got a link to the correct Suspension Top Mounts for an 06 Meg 225 Cup . . . reasonably priced?

Have looked on Mister-Auto but there are several diff types/brands, I don't want to order the wrong one!

Doing a steering/suspension refresh after 90k miles, so far I have the following:

    TRW Track Road Ends
    TFD Steering Rack Bush
    Lemforder front/rear lower arm bushes
    Ocap lower arm ball joint
Suspension top mounts (to be ordered soon)

Only thing I am missing is the inner tie rods but as I'm trying to do it on the cheap was gonna skip for now . . .

Good idea?? S-: Anything else you can think worth doing while I'm down there?

    Thanks,

    Rich

  2. Sounds like you've got most bases covered mate.

does anyone know if there is or going to be a adjustable top mount available for the mk2?

  3. Make sure your bottom ball joint is threaded or you will find out that you have the wrong ones.

  4. Another couple of things to look at would be drop links and anti twist links since you've got it all apart dude.

  5. hello, can you give me the part number of the top mounts. Are there some alternative not OEM top mounts.

  6. Im after the same for R26. Or do i have to go with OEM top mounts?

  7. OEM top mounts are £60 a corner.

  8. Just a quick pointer - I usually use ECP but recently found a German site called Rexbo - they stock a lot of parts that ECP dont.

  9. I've gone for OEM top mounts from Adam Greenhouse... Price difference was marginal.

  10. Bump . . .

  11. Bump. Any other brands ok except 68 quid oem?!
