Vibration when braking

  1. Right this is doing my nut in. When braking from 60+ getting vibration through steering wheel. I have new discs and pads fitted few weeks ago as others were warped and also had tyres balanced to make sure it wasn't them. Its a bit better after tyres but not perfect, any you guys have an idea what it could be.

    Cheers jambo

  2. I saw u said you have new discs but afaik i have only ever had that with warped discs .no idea what else it could be.sorry

  3. what pads are in it and has it been on track?

  4. Light/medium or heavy braking?

  5. Likely pad compound build up on disc ‘cause didn’t bed the new discs in

  6. could be,or hub faces not cleaned correct before mounting disks, and not sitting 100% flush.
are you sure you dont have a sticking piston in the brake callipers?

  7. +1 hub faces?

  8. jack up the front and see if the wheels spins freely..if not then stuck piston..even some resistance could be enough to build up heat and warp the disk.
