Hi people... got a monumental issue... I've bought a megane "250" cold side/cartridge from rstuning (no hot side) I was told it will pop straight in to the hot side of my existing R26. But... it does not fit. Has anyone else had this problem before by any chance?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The air gap between the caliper and wheel is a rough indication of the larger 250 exhaust wheel... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Btw the cleaning and balance check was done by me as what I purchased was a second hand turbo. I spoke to the chap who balanced it. He done no alterations but balance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So... the turbocharger is not a hybrid unit. Instead, all this time I've been rocking a 170bhp Laguna turbocharger. Hence why the housing is not accepting my core. Just fooking great.[emoji35][emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh that's easy to answer... I remember the forecourt salesman going on about fitting a turbocharger to the car whilst in his possession. I even asked him after money exchanged hands that "the deal has been done. Can you tell me what if anything been done so so. Just so I know to correct it in the immediate future" oh well. The bright side is I'm going from a laguna powered turd to a 250 turbo mapped car. So it should feel massively more grunty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well the car to be fair I thought pulled well. You'd never really need to drop a gear to pull away. And I've no other megane that I could have compared it to. So till the new ones in and I'm chuffing down the motorway, I can't say. But will keep you posted. This weekends been hectic to say the least! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I forgot to take pictures of the oil pump and slave cylinder install though. [emoji36] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
