Well... Google seems to have classified this site as unsafe now. Anyone get the blaring red screen if doom when first coming here? Like this http://www.ghacks.net/2016/02/04/deceptive-site-ahead-google-to-warn-about-deceptive-buttons/
Website Issue I know use to get the redirects to fileshare etc, but now my computer is going mental with regards to web forgery? I'm copying and pasting in my log details in case there is a key logger attached lol Anyone else getting this message starting to appear? although I guess it would depend on whether your using protective software on your computer.
Oops probably should of looked at new topics before creating one, this is what I put with photo to show what I'm seeing. Just be careful in case anyone's attached a key logger to the back end of the site as lots of people use same usernames and passwords for various sites (maybe paypal, ebay etc, places where once in money can easily be sent / spent) http://www.rsmegane.com/showthread.php?10660-Website-Issue
Ditto, it's not actually our site issue I don't think. Google has decided were a threat website, unless someones been reporting the site for whatever reason. I'll message Nik.
Not happening here for me - everything seems fine - desktop Win 7 64bit Browser Chrome Version 48.0.2564.116 m
It is the site. I frequently get directed to a site when I open the forum, which tries to direct you to a dodgy page or file that fortunately no longer exists on a file hosting site. Basically the forum has been compromised or there's a dodgy plugin with some dodgy JavaScript code being executed whenever anyone opens the forum - this is why Google will have finally got round to classifying it as bad. I can try and trace the dodgy lines down when I have time but it will be fiddly and IMO you are best doing a fresh export / install of the site (specifically the templates) and reloading all the threads/attachments.
Just to let you guys know, this is being worked on. As you know there has been some issues with the site recently and this is down to a bug in one of the forum plugins. As it's part of the core functionality of the site, and also reduces spam users it's not been possible to remove. Unfortunately while this has now been patched again, Google will take a while to check and remove the warning you might be seeing. The warning should go away in the next 72 hours or so. We are currently begining work to invest some money to move off this dated and buggy forum platform entirely to something far better in the next few weeks, so watch this space. Thanks for your patience during this time.
