265 Tyre pressure

  1. Just curious what everyone runs them at 235/40/18. Do you run them at normal pressure or have them at the ECO pressure?

  2. 2.2-2.3 at the front and about 2 at the back. Not sure what they are psi, somewhere around 34 front at a guess.

  3. I ran my r26 with 2psi more on the rear but i found the 265 wanted to play more with extra on the rear so i run evens when cold, think 32psi all round

  4. I always run on an eco: 2.6 bar front and 2.3 bar on a rear axle. I don't see much difference in driving, but it does 3 mpg better on fuel :-)

  5. My tyres must have been set to the ECO pressure from when I got it in December. Checked them the other day because I noticed a nail in the tyre (which wasn't right through) and dropped them all to 32psi. Feels like night and day of a difference. You on the 19's? Maybe because I have a bigger profile tyre.

  6. Yes, I am on 19". Probably I don't feel difference because I drive it rather gently. I have my little one on a board 90% of time so I rather "cruise" thru Bucks and Berks :-)
