  1. Anyone thinking of changing or getting rid of your video recording set up or GoPro give me a msg on this, looking out for something, cash waiting....

    Cheers,

  2. Have you looked at the GoPro Hero? Came out last year with the new hero 4's.

I think it's a bargain for the price., can pick them up new for £99. It is the basic one so features are limited but still good quality.

Ive got two GoPro's. I use a Hero3 White edition (which have come down to around the £150 mark) and a Hero 2.

I always watch a few on eBay as there's loads, but they don't go for cheap, so I'd say your better off getting a new one.

  3. Thanks Craig - I've had a look at the newer ones at the £200 mark, but not the Hero - will check that out for sure; yeah with new battery etc may be better to punt for brand new kit, plus good to know they have a solid resale value

  4. what about a mobius?

  5. I have a GoPro hero 2 which I stopped using because the mobius cameras I have in the car are just as good.

  6. Crickey they are dirt cheap, didn't know about those - Thanks! will have a proper read up tomorrow

  7. Imo if your going to get one, get the gopro. You won't be disappointed and it'll be worth the extra cash.

Yeah the Mobius looks like the bargain for sure

  10. Which mobius did you use for this recording grumpy?

  11. I thought there was only one?

  12. Nah Mobius sport/or wideangle/or highdef lol

oh yeah and Mobius actioncam ))

  15. I've got a gold star onboard front and rear can with a dvr

  16. ReplayXD 1080 v GoPro Hero 10…: http://youtu.be/oBtMduOTEwA

I'm getting one of these for when I get back on the bike... Quality of the video seems better than the go pro...

  17. Cant go wrong with the gopro hero, £85 in halfords atm for 60fps 1080p

  18. Just looked only 30fps, still good 720p at 60

  19. That a bad comparison tbf, the gopro used in that video looks like one of the 1st ones. The newer ones are far better.

Might be better in quality but they have a whole multitude of issues. I still use a first gen one as i know it will work everytime.

Far to many of my friends have 3's and onwards and have had no end of issues with them, Batterys dying in 10 mins, Memory cars being wiped. The list goes on.

There are a few cheap GoPro clones out now that are actually very, very good for the price. The SJ4000 being one of them.

GoPro as a brand us very similar to Apple IMO, As in the marketing far exceeds the product.

  21. There's a cheapo Chinese one coming out soon that can do 1080p @ 60fps... And seems to wipe the floor with all action cams out there (at least on paper) best part... Its going to cost circa £40-£60
