Do you guys get it? where do you go? it's for the nurburgring, i've never had it before but i'd quite like to have it for peace of mind Cheers Stuie
yes, i can get cover for my car and the armco from insuremytrackday.com but i'm looking at £290 for the 2 days which seems a lot
Sounds about right then, Doesn't cover 3rd party though which is where the big bills can come from, Especially if Mr GT3 RS has an off due to your fluids, debris etc and then can't work for months due to his injurys. Horses for courses though, I wouldn't go near TF without proper cover these days. The risks far outweigh the rewards IMO.
Just don't drive like a total tadge and you'll be fine. You'll enjoy it it's a great experience just keep an eye on your mirrors.
This has been my mantra as long as I can remember. REIS do fully comp track cover for something like 1% of a cars value which is great if the car is £6K worth of R26. Hell I even had fully comp track side cover whilst racing a few times but the costs just got silly, last time I asked they wanted 600 quid for one weekend on a race car worth about £10k.
i've been 3 times before and never needed it i just dont wanna not have it that one time i mess up although saying that quotes i was getting were £290 with £500 excess which i might aswell just fork out myself to fix whatever goes wrong!
That's cheap as chips. We can't get any sort of coverage for track days in Sweden (nor at any track in the world). We have to buy coverage for damages to ourselves and other persons, but no chance of getting coverage of your car.. They can't deny 3rd party damages however so I guess that's always something...
