Hi all, I did have this listed previously for sale at £4200. However I have now decided to sell the car as it is for cheaper as we need it off the drive quickly! Pic for interest; I think the car is priced fairly as it is worth more than this but I am open to offers. I bought the car 3 years ago and it’s been brilliant. It never uses a drop of oil or water, it’s never let me down, it’s been my daily commuter since I bought it and it’s not really needed anything outside the routine maintenance. Im selling as our old workhorse diesel estate died which was my partners car, we agreed it’s her turn to have a car she likes now so I’ve ended up getting a 320d. [emoji99] This is the 225 Renault F1 Team which has the usual factory fitted extras such as one off colour scheme, Recaro seats, interior electronics upgrades, cup chassis etc. This is number 243 of 1500 produced as shown on a plaque on the dash. Only 149 were bought over to the UK so real ones are few and far between. http://renaultsportheritage.co.uk/megane/225-f1-team/ https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-revie...drives/renault-megane-225-renault-f1-team-3dr https://www.evo.co.uk/renault/megane-rs-230-f1-team Firstly the negative points; - The drivers side CV joint needs replacement as it’s got a clunk when pulling out of junctions with some lock applied - had an independent Renault specialist listen to it for me. Been like it ages and drives just fine - just haven’t got around to it, lol! - There is a chip on the bootlid as pictured - One key card - A/C could do with a re-gas - the drivers seat base bolster has a couple of cracks in the leather - been there since I bought the car. Positives; - 81,000 miles, no longer rising - Genuinely tidy and straight throughout. No nasty dents or scratches, not hiding anything, nothing broken. - All electricals work - Completely standard, unmolested, not thrashed, tight as a drum, averages over 30mpg daily - Cambelt replaced 09/08/17 at Diamond Motors independent Renault specialist - 12 months MOT - passed 07/02/19 - Premium tyres all round in the original, correct size (235/40/18) - Swivel hub bearings replaced - Last service October 2018 - Substantial history, loads of receipts etc - Battery replaced a few months back so still under warranty - Clean and tidy interior Pics; I don’t think there’s anything else - I’ll add anything I think of.
