Hi All Does anyone know whether a standard Mk2 meg wheel will fit an R26/R? Something along the lines of this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/03-09-REN...Make:Renault|Model:Megane&hash=item3ceb80a0c0 Looking to get another wheel so I can have it re-trimmed, the standard ones look the same shape/design as the R26 (without the stripe at the top) The standard ones are much cheaper so seems pointless to spend a lot when its only going to get re-trimmed anyway? Any info would be great.
Yeah it will fit fine mate, just check its got cruise control if yours does (not sure if they all do or not tbh)
You don't need to buy a steering wheel just to have it re-trimmed, I had my 250 wheel done by Royal Steering Wheels, they work on an exchange basis. You tell them what car you have, what finish you would like and they send you the finished, trimmed steering wheel, you then return your old wheel to them. http://royalsteeringwheels.com
Cheers dude, it doesn't have cruise so no worry there, managed to get hold of an R26 wheel from a friendly chap off here. Cheers, used Royal before and will use them again.
