Hi all. I've just sold my 330d. It had bilstein suspension and was remapped to 300bhp+ huge amounts of torque. Stunning fast GT car. But my commute changed and I now only do 6,000 miles a year and I wanted something a bit more fun.
So I heard that the Megane was an amazing driving machine, few tests drives later and here she is...... Doh won't let me add another picture! How do you guys upload pictures directly onto a thread?

Welcome mate. The best way would be to upload the pics to a image sharing website such as Imgur, Photobucket or Flickr, then link them directly to the thread and they should show on the thread.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. The bmw was amazing on a motorway and would still be my first choice as a car to take me down to the Med, but I no longer do many miles. The Megane really surprised me when I drove it earlier, tight bend and foot down, oh my god what a car! It just needs a bit more noise, I'm thinking about doing the "mid box chop" if anyone can suggest a place near Rugby/Daventry
Get a panel filter and tear out the foam in the airbox, gives you more in cabin noise with wooshes and more gumbles with a slight more hint of BOV (without being too pi key).
Is the mid box chop a bit too noisy? I don't want to sound like I belong in a McDonald's car park, im too old for that!

Even with mid box or cat back system there not loud compared to the other hatches in its class. On the motorway just cruising there not loud at all with a cat back exhaust on.
Thanks everyone. I really love it. I think a mid box chop is on the cards, as is some new rubber for the mismatched tyres on the front! Anyone got any recommendations?
Welcome mate, looks stunning that. Black door handles really suits it. Midbox chop (imo) doesn't really make it any louder but it pops and bangs a lot more which is nice. I wish I went for a cat back system. (they're all pretty similar noise wise).
Looks stunning ! My RS4 is black but I didn't fancy a black R26 so got blue instead ! Don't think I could handle two black cars lol trying to keep them clean ! Welcome !
I'm really loving the car. But i've got a few things that I would like to get done. My BMW had white lights and yellow DRLs, the megane has white DRLs and yellow headlights! So I need to get some white headlight bulbs to match the DRLs. Also some new boots for the fronts and a full alignment just in case.
Do the 275 user H4? If so Philips X-treme Vision, I've had some in mine for ages. I had Osrams but they just kept blowing.
