For sale are 4 x RS250/265 AX-L Cup Alloys which have been refurbed to the highest standard by Total Wheel Works in Nottingham 1,000 miles ago. The refurb included shot blasting before powder coating in gloss black. As the pictures show, the wheels are in fantastic condition with no scrapes or scratches. Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 225/40 R18 92 Y XL. 2 of the Tyres have 5mm tread across and 2 have 6mm across. No puncture repairs or damage. 4 genuine gloss black RS centre caps included. I thought there would be more interest in these. Do you guys reckon the wheels would be more attractive without tyres? Feedback much appreciated.
For me I think the price is too strong. You can get brand new F1s for £500 and a refurb for £150. Yes with yours that means you get a set of alloys for £150 but the tyres are 25% worn. At least that's the thought process I went through.
Thanks for feedback. My logic on pricing was that the wheels are £900 New and there is £200 worth of rubber allowing for wear. The price of £800 is just under 30% discount which I didn't think was unreasonable given as new condition of wheels. Any sensible offers. Rausner, I would rather not split wheels & tyres as I'm in no rush to sell but would take £625 plus postage if you're that keen.
