Had a bit of a search around but can’t find a lot on this. I’m assuming the exhaust across 175, 225, R26 are the same cat back (with the exception of the DPF on the 175), So would need minor modifications. Is that correct? Would assume the stock 175 exhaust is 2” or 2.25” bore, so an aftermarket would make it a little freer flowing. Has anyone done this, and is there any noticable differences? As there will be restriction in the cat and DPF (if the car has them) and as a reducer will be required to mate the stock front part of the exhaust to the centre/rear. Is it worth it, or do those restrictions render it pointless? Noise... we all know diesels don’t sound the best. Will it just be annoying? The stock exhaust is practically silient, which is actually quite nice to a degree. However, if the cars going to perform better and not sound like a drowney pig, it might just be worth it. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
Hi Marc, Sorry but we're not entirely sure! We believe they're the same but haven't had one in the workshop to double check unfortunately. I don't suppose you're local to South Yorkshire are you?
