Painting 225 Brake Calipers red... Tips

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Simonas, Feb 22, 2015.

  1. I'm going to do my calipers red. In the past although not for about 10 years I've used a caliper pain and brushed it on.

What paint do people use on here and do you spray or paint it on?

I've never taken calipers off is it easy and by doing so do you have to re-bleed the brake system fill with brake fluid etc?

Any advice would be very welcome as you can probably tell I'm a bit dim when it comes to mechanics

  7. they look amazing where did you get the spray from?

  8. was just thinking that my self, can you give us a link?

  9. I got the spray from my local motor factors £6 a tin it's just red caliber spray took about 20 mins a side to do

  10. Did you take them right off to spray or just rub down and mask up around them? I was thinking about sending mine away but if I can get them half as good as that myself then that's an improvement on what they look like now!
