I'm about to have my 225 remapped to 279 BHP and would like to change the oil, filter and plugs prior to the remap. What is the recommended oil and plugs for this increase in power. Also, is fitting the plugs straight forward, or, as someone told me, its manifold off to do this???? Im assuming it's a 5-30 semi synthetic oil? Thanks.
Use the standard Renault elf evolution and Renault plugs from Renault parts direct in my stage 1 R26 with no issues. Fitting was just remove the engine cover and unbolt the coils and then take out the plugs.
