Not a Meg but Volvo XC70 Detailing project.

  1. A customer brought this gorgeous Volvo XC70 to me, never been valeted let alone detailed before. I spent around 10 hours on this, I was racing against the sunlight so couldn't take that many photos.
First of all I snow foamed the car with Auto Finesse Avalanche
Worked the foam into trim using Hog Hair Brushes
Washed again using 2 bucket method and Auto Finesse Lather
Completed Tar removal using Auto Finesse Oblitarate
Decontaminated paintwork with a fine clay bar including door shuts
Removed alloys cleaned, polished and clayed the wheels
Cleaned under suspension mountings, dressed all plastic areas
Sealed the wheels with G Techniq Wheel Armour
Polished the car by machine using Auto Finesse Revitalise System
Snow Foamed the car once again to remove any dust and residue
Finished the car with Auto Finesse Tough Coat
Cleaned glass with Auto Finesse Crystal
Polished up all the clear plastic trim to restore clarity
Dressed plastic trim with Auto Finesse Revive
    Polished all chrome trim
    Completed Interior Detail
The photos speak for themselves, sorry for the lack of photos but I was rushing, until I get a unit sorted this is as detailed as they will be.
How the car was when the customer dropped it off.
