Hi folks, I'm looking to get an r26 f1 next week so I thought I would sign up and find out some technical info that I'll need to complete the timing belt change and a few other jobs. Im no stranger to Renault currently owning 2 throttle bodied and cam'd Clio's. One is my 172 cup race car and the other a track/weekend toy. I have my eye on what seems like a nice UR R26 F1 Lux, hopefully things go to plan and I should have it next weekend. A few pics of my current and soon to be owned cars. Track car. Cheers, its needing the timing/aux belt and service done, brakes replacing, tyres changing and I'll replace any worn suspension components while I'm at it. Plan is too keep it fairly standard but I do want to get the gear linkage machined and shorten its throw, back box chop, cut and re weld the Recaro base frames so that they are lower, fit map sensor and vaccum clamps and replace any boost vaccum hoses that I'm not happy with to better items. Then it will just be a forge re circ valve to make sure the car is holding boost as it should. If I hold onto the car I'll put a stage one map on the car and probably 630cc injectors. Yeah the trucks ace for what I use it for.
