My 225 inferno project thread..

  1. So I bought this last Aug in decent condition only wanting a quick tidy up. Few dents and scratches and horrendous DIY painted alloys.

    Plans are fit original 225 alloys and get it back to fully standard,not convinced on the lunar grey mirrors etc but I had paint spare from a job I did so what the hell

    As she stood on delivery

    Then got crackling with the strip and started with the filler.Nothing major only a few slight ripples.

    Which then found its way into primer and fully masked up one Friday evening ready for paint

    Then the other bits in the other oven

    Fuel housing removed to clean surface rust behind filler housing

    Rear trim removed

    A coat of sealer before laying the base coat down

    Fully built up wIth the wheels painted lunar grey.

    That's how she stands at the minute,fitted new xenon bulbs but lasted about 10minutes before flickering. next on the list is a 250 turbo and supporting mods then off to M-Tec oe power for mapping etc.
