My 265 has a faint clunk over bumps and occasionally when releasing the clutch, it's just had new drop links so that's one thing to rule out. Any ideas?
Engine mounts? Those stabiliser links (look like drop links but run horizontally) Mine had gone on my car and it bugged me for ages. 2 garages couldn’t locate the noise. I found it when the wheel was off after I got a puncture
Had a vibra tenchnics torque link fitted today, while it was there I got them to have a look to see if they could find the source of the knocking and they couldn't find anything. I have ordered some anti-rotation links to see if that cures it!
Pretty sure it will be the anti rotation links, mine need doing. Keep us updated on whether they cure your problem.
