Megane 275 trophy white or grey

  1. hi all I'm on the look out for a Megane 275 trophy. I'd really like a white one but maybe consider a grey one. If anyone knows of one or looking to sell that would be great.
    Many thanks Matt

  2. Hi Matt, welcome along.

There were only 96 Trophys sold in the UK; I'm not sure on the colour split.

Given the price cut for the cup and cup-s, have you not considered these new rather than a 2nd hand Trophy?

  3. Hi thanks for the reply. I know if I bought a normal 275 I wouldn't be happy as prefer the trophy interior and don't like the 275 wheels so would have to change those. I also like the rarity of the trophy and think they will hold there value better

  4. I see what you mean, but I think the wheels can be changed as an option, and the Trophy residuals are surely lower because of the newer 275 models?

  5. You could sell me yours and get a new 275 ha ha

  7. The problem of being very picky is that you massively restrict your choice and therefore your ability to buy on condition. I don't how different the interior of a Trophy is either ?

  8. As above, buy on condition as the choice is limited. White is more popular just based on the numbers available.

  9. If I don't find one suitable I just move on an go for something else. Pointless buying one for the sake of it

  10. Depends on how much you want one. They are out there if you are prepared to put the time in.

  11. What does the Trophy have that a 275 doesn't have ?

  12. Much depends on which 275 you are comparing it with. Renault's policy for constantly titting about with model designations, trim and options doesn't make comparisons easy.

  13. I meant the current and soon to be discontinued 275 either in Cup S or Nav trim. Depending on options, either of them will literally equate to a Trophy, unless the Trophy has anything that they can't have (apart from stickers).

  14. You have to assume the OP is looking at the older stuff, hence the hunt for a Trophy.

If you like the driving, value for money and not just bits of trim, fancy exhausts and stickers, then a 265 Cup is just as effective as a solution.

  15. Prefer the interior an wheels on a trophy to a normal 275 plus I like the rarity of them

  16. The snag with the Trophy Speedlines is they were an option new, so that limits choice when looking used.

  17. Can't stand the standard wheels so if I was to buy a normal 275 I'd have to shell £1500 out for a set of speedline turini' an it still won't have the alcantera trim of the trophy

  18. You can get a 275 Trophy and it will have the fancy exhaust and trim, it just might not have the Speedlines (or Ohlins).

  19. Bump still looking

  20. It's a pretty small and new market; you might be looking a while.

  21. I get the impression most of them where ordered in liquid yellow as there's about four for sale
