I've got an engine cover that someone tried to paint from ebay a while ago (after I accidentally snapped my cover taking it off!). I've since managed to get an original engine cover so this one is just taking up garage space as I didn't get around to refinishing it. If you're looking for an engine cover to paint, and don't want to risk your own original cover this would be ideal. It needs sanding down again and repainting, but it's all intact and has the rubber mounting points attached. It's been painted and has a badly applied decal on it (That has shifted around a bit on the clear coat). There's some bubbling in the paint on the top left corner, but you'd need to sand off the whole thing anyway. I'd suggest using paint suited to a higher temperature. I'm happy to let it go for £25 including the postage (These are usually about £50 and much more from Renault!)
I'll take it if you PM me payment details. I'll have a go at Hydro Dipping. Want to create a 'Carbon Fibre' background with Renault Sport across it in the tricoloure colours, no idea how it'll turn out but at that price worth a punt and attempt
Will you be needing the rubber mounts if you decide to buy this? I need 2. Renault don't sell them on there own.
