With a heavy heart my friend has put his Megane 225 up for sale[emoji45] it's finished in the black gold metallic which looks awesome when the sun catches it, this is good low mileage example with only 76k on the clocks which is nothing for these cars. I've had the pleasure of driving this and for a 12yr old car this one drives faultless and with the short shift mod makes it even sweeter to drive, when he got the car we done a full service on it for piece of mind which included a full oil & coolant change, new filters all round along with new spark plugs and that just made it even nicer to drive, it ticks over and runs faultless when it's ticking over you can hardly hear the engine. Good bits 2005 Megane 225 Renault Sport 2.0 Turbo MOT- Jan 2018 - No advisorys on last test Low Miles 76,000 RARE Metalic paint - Black with gold flakes - Code 267 New Kenwood DAB -USB Bluetooth radio , and upgraded kenwood Door and rear speakers just been fitted Rear Parking Sensors Good condition inside and out Half leather sports seats All 4 tyres are almost new including full size alloy for spare Recently serviced less than 1,000 miles ago - Oil and filters (oil - air and cabin filters changed) New coolant in the radiator - New wiper blades - New spark plugs HPI clear Bad bits - After all its a 12yr old car - Cruise control wont set, I believe this is an easy fix with a new clutch peddle switch! The speed limiter still works tho. Air Con has no gas, cost only £30 for re-gas Rear Screen Wash doesn't work, common fault on the 225. Scuffed corner on front bumper - see photo, this was done by a previous owner and has never bothered him. Couple of very small dents in the doors, only to be expected with a 12yr old car. Alloy wheels could do with a refurb, there is also 3 spare alloys to go with the car one is in the boot as a spare. Both door window occasional decide not to work, again common with these and an easy fix with either new regulators or just giving these ones a clean. So to sum it up this is a very good car for its age and goes well, this is totally standard apart from the short shift mod and air box mod and the engine has never been messed with which is rare for these cars. The asking price is £2,200 and for what this car is I think this is a fare price. Ideally he would like a full cash sale but will listen to any part ex on a mk6 diesel fiesta? The car is located in Sunderland/Durham. Any questions please ask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
