  1. Evening all!

    I'm reluctantly selling my R26 as it just doesn't get any use other than to work and back. I've done 1k miles since July! It's a superb example and has to be one of the best available. Its a totally genuine sale, I have two young children and get out on my road bike when I have any spare time, so I simply don't get time to enjoy the car. It sits on my drive 99% of the time.

    I've owned it since June 2013, it has been maintained regardless of cost and I have a ton of receipts to prove. The only two places the car has been since I've had it are are Mark Black and RS tuning. I had Mark Black check the car over before sale and do me the following work, this was all done in the last two weeks (beginning of December) and cost me just shy of £1400:

    R.26R clutch and SMF.
    Brembo HC front discs + Brembo pads
    Two Michelin pilot super sport front tyres - the rears are Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric and have a good 6mm of tread.
    Osram nightbreaker unlimited headlight bulbs and Cree LED sidelights.
    New drivers side window regulator and switch.
    Sorted interior rattles and fitted centre console with armrest - I've fitted this with a brand new leather armrest I had to order from Germany as I couldn't find one anywhere else.
    Oil service, didn't need it as the last service was only 2.5k miles ago but I had it done anyway.


    Details of the car:

    Liquid yellow, full decals. It was a 57 plate but has a private R26 plate which will obviously stay with the car.
    Just ticked over 51k miles.
    FSH with 9 stamps in the book. Serviced at:

    16/12/08 5397 miles
    12/12/09 9724 miles
    17/12/10. 12355 miles
    9/5/11. 18452 miles
    16/6/12. 26209 miles
    28/3/13. 36121 miles - cambelt/aux belt/water pump done at CookSport.
    7/3/14. 43332 miles - new injectors fitted.
    20/3/15. 48139 miles - major service including brake fluid
    3/12/15. 50960 miles

    Mods:

    Forge actuator
    Forge recirc valve
    Miltek decat + back box chop
    Ktec induction kit
    RS Tuning custom map (I took it back to RS tuning after the decat to get it mapped in properly). Running 272bhp/285lb ft.

    Refurbed alloys in gloss black, superb condition.
    Taper Pro polarised bolts + lockers.
    Gloss black door bullets, mirror caps and badge covers.
    Gloss black engine cover.
    Genuine RenaultSport mats.

    Interior is standard apart from better centre console with new leather armrest, new leather handbrake handle, white led interior lighting kit and aux lead from original head unit. There is also wiring in place for a sub and amp, I've never used them and they're just tucked into the rear pocket. The Recaros are in excellent condition with zero signs of wear to the bolster. Overall the interior is excellent apart from a few marks on the plastics.

    The car will also come with the original airbox, back box, a spare set of genuine Renault mats and a box of odds and ends (mirror caps etc). The car sounds awesome, but should the new owner want the car quieter there is a Powerflow place 5 minutes from my house, they only charged me £48 last year to refit the centre box.

    Bad points - there is a scuff underneath the passenger side front bumper, this is clearly visible in the last photo of the car. There is a light scuff on the rear bumper, this isn't visible from a few feet away but I couldn't quote polish it all out. some stone chips and age related marks, anyone who tells you their 8 year old car is perfect is either a liar or doesn't understand what the word means! I'm just being 100% honest, overall the car looks absolutely superb as I hope the photos show, unfortunately it's December and it had just started raining when I took them!

    The RS tuning map is so good - it pulls strongly through all gears, and the car just drives very very tightly. No pulling, no knocking, even the interior rattles have been virtually eliminated.

    With the clutch and fw just being done and the cambelt not due for nearly 2 1/2 years this car should need very little spending on it anytime soon. I've put a lot of effort and money to make it as good an example as I can. Mark Black will vouch for this car as he's done a load of work to it, he's only 20 minutes away from me and I'd be happy to arrange to take it to him on a test drive and for any prospective buyer to have a chat with him.

    The original folder is present along with every handbook and manual, even the dealers business card with original reg no. There are two keys, one of which is brand new and never used - I paid £170 to replace one I lost whilst out cycling.

    I'm a keen detailer and the car is always cleaned and protected with quality products.

    I don't want to move away from RenaultSports, so I'll happily consider taking a cheap 225 in p/x. I'm not bothered about miles or if it needs a bit of work as long as it's an honest car and not a chavved up heap.

    The price is £7,500ono. Obviously I'm open to offers but I won't move a great deal as I believe the car is worth it. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep hold of it as I'm in no way desperate. Test drives will be me driving unless I have the full amount in my hand or in my bank - I appreciate its not ideal but I can't afford to lose 7.5k by someone who is uninsured crashing it on a test drive. This will change if you can show valid proof of fully comp insurance for any car.

  3. Forgot to include it's been mapped and run on V-Power only, I never put anything else in. Also the car comes with a TW Steel Renault F1 chronograph watch (£300 new not some cheap Renault made merchandising tat). I bought it just after I bought the car as its a nice thing to go with it.   5. Put a classified ad on EBay yesterday and already had a couple of offers (not insulting but not close enough!) and interest from a couple of others, so there's a good chance it'll sell soon. If anyone reading this is thinking of viewing just give me a shout. I appreciate its by no means the cheapest out there but it's a bloody good example and a completely genuine sale.

    I'd have happy to consider taking a cheap 225 or 197 as a p/x, don't mind if it needs a bit of stuff doing as long as it's an honest car.
