Has anyone fitted the LUK slave cylinder recently as mine that was included with my helix has popped once again. I've been to most car parts places and the design seems to have changed and the end coming out of the housing now seems to be made out of metal and on the whole looks alot more robust. It also seems theyve done away with the 2 clip bleeder and gone back to the original one clip that is oem from renault thanks in advance for any replies
I need to drop the gear box now and fit a new slave as the plastic that stops the clips has completely worn away making bleeding impossible. I'm guessing this new fitting which is made from metal will stop the problem with the old plastic fittings
I got a dremel and cut a new square into the bleed part so I could rotate it 90 degrees to a fresh part of the slave that wasn't worn.
