Hello, My car started making a clunking/knocking noise from the front left side. The noise appears when using the clutch while driving at slower speeds, and when doing low speed bumps. I've checked the swivel bearings, wheel bearing itself, topmounts, anti-rotation links and the bushes of the lower control arm. All are ok. Anyone knows what this can be? Thanks in advance.
I had exactly the same thing on mine and changed loads of stuff. It was checked over twice and nothing was found. In the end I changed my anti-rotation link and the noise completely went. The old link felt fine but obviously had play under load.
How many miles on the clock!? Had similar, everything checked over fine, changed the clutch and flywheel as the dual mass was on its way out. I can’t say 100% it was that but car back and no knock!?
