  1. Hi guys, i am planning to replace my inner tie rods, what special tool do i need for that and what size? or a set?

  2. No special tool needed. Just a pair of stilsons

  3. a pair of wha?

  4. Stilsons (grips) like a plumber would use

  5. You get a special tool that takes them off, it slides over the arm and onto the bit that's attached to the rack wind it off job done. Far quicker than fannying around with the incorrect tool. See if you can borrow one.

  6. There not that much to buy circ 30 quid

  7. In fairness pliers like these get them straight off.

Im with Mike, why struggle when the special tool takes seconds.

  9. Somebody know the size of the tool?
