High spec 265 CUP - extensive mods and maintenance

  1. Sadly, the time has come to sell my Megane 265 RS CUP. Bought from Renault Croydon, just hit 3 years of ownership, no expense spared when it came to maintenance and upgrades, including what I believe is the first Megane RS to have downshift throttle blipping technology installed!

    265 CUP & 52k miles. Barely increasing at the moment apart from the occasional weekend drive.
    Always ran on 99 Momentum or V Power

    Full Service History (i have serviced around every 5k using only Shell Helix Ultra oil) including timing belt etc job completed at the time of purchase by Renault Croydon.
    First service in my ownership included all filters except pollen, and oil. Induction kit cleaned and new oil around 2k miles ago.

    Upgrades and maintenance below all throughout my ownership:
    - Car has been annually clay barred and waxed using Swisswax wax. Wheels have been sealed using Poorboys wheel sealant.
    Due to do it this year - happy to re-wax and reseal wheels if buyer wishes.
    - Downshift throttle blipping tech - similar tech to M2's, manual GT Porsche's etc. The module will blip the throttle on downshifts for perfect 'heel and toe' downshifts. Can be turned off at the press of a button if you prefer heel and toe yourself. Been running for 2 years on car - faultlessly.
    - Advanced driver tag recognition immobiliser fitted. (Wasn't sure if Renault keycards could be cloned like BMW's, Jag/Lend Rover's, Focus RS keys so added an extra layer of protection)
    - Audison Prima APK 130 2 way (driver and tweeter) fitted with light sound proofing in doors around the speaker to prevent speaker vibrations.
    +
    Hertz HCP2 (2 channel) amp fitted to power front speakers.
    Huge sound upgrade from factory speakers, this is entry level SQ car audio equipment - will be leaving it in the car for the buyer)
    - New thermostat changed (preventative due to common fault), system fully bled, new Renault Type D coolant running through system.
    - Front splitter and exhaust trim sprayed gloss black
    - Forge recirculation valve fitted
    - LED bulbs fitted (standard halogen bulbs were poor in night driving)
    - Switched from 19" steeves to 18" tibers, refurbed, sprayed in anthracite with red lip, wrapped in brand new Goodyear F1 SuperSport tyres. 1 small mark since on 2 of the wheels
    - Brand new H&R springs fitted
    - Gearbox oil changed
    - KTEC Induction kit fitted with silicone pipe
    - Stubby ariel fitted
    - Sound generator pipe deleted with silicone bungs fitted
    - Airtec Stage 1 Intercooler fitted
    - EFI remap by Chris with paperwork - 300/340 figures on sport mode.
    - Exhaust mid box delete
    - Full brake refresh - including brand new front and rear Brembo high carbon disks, new DS UNO front pads, new Brembo OE rear pads, RBF 600 flush and new fluid, Goodridge braided lines fitted all at the same time.
    - Short shift mod fitted, easily reversible under the battery tray if not suited to new owner, personally it's a huge improvement on the shift feel being more direct and precise
    - Yellow Powerflex engine insert mount fitted. NOT the black series one which is more suited to track usage which causes vibration at idle
    - Front Renault badge, gearbox gaiter chrome trim, door handles all wrapped in carbon
    - 275 revised design gearbox mount fitted with m12x1.5x50mm bolt (preventative due to common fault)
    - Charge pipe replaced with new 57/51mm jubilee clips as OE rubber perished
    - New front tyres in September 2021 (again replaced with brand new Goodyear F1 Supersports)

    Bad points:
    - Check stop/start light is on, due to battery needing replacing soon. I will be replacing this prior to sale for new owner
    - Slight scuff mark on front bumper, some stone chips although minimal. Light wear and tear around bodywork, in very good condition for a 9 year old car
    - As noted above, Wheels were refurbished in anthracite circa 18 months ago, Front Left has very small kerbing, same with back right. Both sections have been painted and re lacquered over to prevent bubbling/rust.


    MOT'd Dec 2021, no advisories. It runs and handles without skipping a beat.

    It was my weekend car but i’ll soon be doing considerable more mileage due to new job and don't want to pile it on the RS!

    Family is also growing, so looking to move next into a Touring version of 535d or 335d, maybe a 640d grand coupe. (one that's ULEZ compliant) - open to part ex/swap.

    I also have a set of 18" black CUP wheels that I bought from a forum member, and fitted/balanced a set of NS2R 180 compound.

    Wheels run straight and true, tyres have no repairs - been used in 1 sprint before I bought them, so all 1 tyres are near new. Haven't had the chance to run them myself.

    Also still have stock intercooler and stock airbox which I’m happy to give with the car.

    Within the price, also including a spare set of CUP wheels wrapped in Nankang NS2R's balanced and aligned (6/7mm+ tread), Stock airbox, Stock intercooler, Brembo front pads and brembo rear pads with lots of pad left (came off when i did full brake refresh), Renault centre caps x 4, R.S centre caps x 4 and Ramair induction cleaning kit
