Got my self a 2006 225 RS Lux. My car before this and still own is a Classic 1275 Mini so theirs fair difference between them. Any tips, tricks and general know how about the 225? This one in particular has got a couple of mods on it, remap to 265bhp, forge blow off valve etc, scorpion cat back exhaust and R26r spoiler. Also im looking at doing a couple of things to it myself such as H&R lowered springs or coil overs which ever is better. Coming from a Classic mini the 225 does feel a fair bit softer and rolls more and id like a more stiffer setup to make the car more planted. Stiffer anti roll bars i suppose maybe too. K&N pod filter setup as well to get more induction noise and any performance benefits. Can you get kits like them for these. Any good boost gauges i should look at? I like my dials, got a oil pressure and voltage gauge in the Mini, found it nice to keep track of vitals. Service stuff, best place to get all details, Haynes manual? These are just a few things I've thought about not done much research on it but if anyone has info about anything i would appreciate it. Thanks
Tis very shiny! keep an eye out for wiring gremlins on the mk2, early warning being elec windows failing.
