Hi guys, I am the proud, although increasingly poor owner of a Megane Sport 225. I've owned her since 2009 and she's an 05 plate. I use a Renault specialist in Sturton,Leeds but would appreciate any other recommendations. I've joined the forum as things now seem to be going pear shaped. I've chucked at least a couple of grand at her in the past few months which is probably more than she's worth but I would like to keep her for the next couple of years at least. There's a couple of annoying issues at the moment but none that are serious enough to sort until after Christmas.... or so I hope. She's coming up to 100,000 miles but I'd like to think that I haven't neglected her. I've been stung in the past using garages that aren't familiar with these cars and don't use genuine parts, however I've learnt my lesson. Any advice would be appreciated.
What sort's of things I need to be looking out for at this stage to replace etc and where to take it. After reading the forum I think I know what most of the problems are ..... leaking passenger door, clicking steering wheel (rotary switch) and when I set off the handbrake light flashes on so I'm going to check the brake fluid level tonight.
Welcome mate. Mine has also crossed the 100k mark and it's the little things that go wrong that can be the most annoying.
