Id like to lower my R26 but unsure if it's been lowered already. What do you guys think? Apparently it's got Ebaich Suspension on it already. TBH I know nothing about springs.
R26 has eibach springs as standard, it does look like the standard R26 height though that was mine standard DSC_0014 by matt eaton, on Flickr
Thanks all. Any recommendations? I don't mind the way the car feels but it does feel a little loose so a stiffer ride would be acceptable. I've read 15mm is a good amount but would that make much difference?
ive got H&R springs on mine now 4th aug 2019 by matt eaton, on Flickr 4th aug 2019 by matt eaton, on Flickr
Before I went down the coilover route I had some Cooksport springs fitted. They dropped the car by 25mm front and 30mm on the rear. The car looked better and the ride was firmer but not too harsh. Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
you probably have the eibach sportlines on your car, rather than the very expensive(now discontinued)OEM eibachs. the sportlines dropped the car very slightly from standard ride height. I think the standard spring/damper set up if the best compromise for UK roads .Never gets flustered on a bumpy road like Cooksports do. Someone now does a direct replacement oem springrate set of springs.KAM maybe? OEM Eibachs were £90 each!
