So i have a forge B.O.V on the car from when i fitted it, its always made the blow off noise from any boost even in neutral revving it. I just thought it has a broken or wrong spring fitted so i bought a set of forge tuning springs. It had a green on in it 10-15psi, which is correct for stock boost, so i put the next one up in, the yellow 15-20psi. Put her all back together and no difference. I scratched my head and said f*ck it ill throw the blue one in 20-25psi, to see if there was any difference. The springs were definitely stiffer but still the same result. I had a look and as soon as the car is started and it pulls vacuum you can see it actuates. Then from any boost its making the noise. The o-rings all look fine and nothing else looks off. Anyone on here ever experienced this? (excuse working on the wheelie bin, the misses car is taking up my whole garage) Cheers, Dave
Ill try to take pics later to see, unfortunately car had a moment yesterday and traction control light came on and car went into limp mode, Im unsure if i lost a cylinder or not but got the check injection warning light. Towed back home but by the time the tow truck got there it had completely fixed itself. Ive had a look on here and seems to be a known issue with no real sure thing fix. Im gonna try pull codes but im not sure if theyre stored or not.
