Hi Guys, I've just had new OEM Top Mounts, Dampers and Cooksport Springs fitted. Every time i go over a speed bump or gutter the spring on the left hand side is unseating in the mount and causing a clunk of a noise. Anybody know whats wrong? I thought it was a straight fit. Cheers, Rich
They are a straight swap / fitment. My guess would be they haven't aligned the spring in the top mount seat, it needs to sit in the correct orientation. I had this problem when Renault replaced my gearbox.
As Gray says. They've cocked something up, take it back and ask them to take a look. I would if I'd paid good money for it!
