R26 Cooksport springs or save for BC's?

  1. Do I go for some cooksports now or save for some BC coilovers?

Heard some stories of snapped cooksports etc..

Last thing I want to do is ruin the R26 handling...

  2. Unles your tracking it leave it alone

  3. Has anyone put cooksport springs on a r26r?

  4. I spoke to josh cook about doing it, he said it would handle better, but I fitted AST coilovers instead , are you not selling your R ?

  5. I am planning on a track day soon, also enjoy a good blast down the local private roads.

Would have some R suspension as it seems to sit slightly lower.

  6. Dont use the r suspension on a non r. Its softer as its lighter.

Cooksports seem fine on mine , although I appreciate that a coilover set is probably better. However - unless you are tracking ( echoing Steve here ) I wouldnt bother.

  7. Tbh I find mine much easier on the road with the bc's. I do trackdays and like playing around with settings and geometry which is why I went for them.

Just ask Ste burns or Mr burns as he may be called on here, he commented the other night how easier mine was on the BCs when picking the pace up on the road compared to his trophy

  8. na? who said I was selling it mate? I washed mine the other week and thought it could do with going abit lower, there's actually quite abit of arch gap. I have thought about coilovers aswell but i dunno. Was just interested if anyone ran the cooksports on a .R and had good feedback.

  10. Ive has R stuff on my R26, recently moved to Cooksports, much better.

  11. I never rode in steves R with the R stuff on but it's certainly sweet with its ast setup
